Poem: Don't get scared of those fancy words.

Don't get scared of those fancy words.
They paint masks for simple thoughts
some clever fool wants hidden
for shame we'd know he played us.

Don't fear those clever lines,
which give you truth so sharply
that it punctures common sense.
Behind lies lies, which would be
plain, if bored men
didn't vainly jumble words.

Don't you worry over big books,
You can't read the lot in one feel swoop -
only line after line, with words words words,
and chaptered at that.
