Should From Dust be re-written for it's PSN release?

Critical reception has been good, but not overwhelming, landing the game at a solid 79 on Metacritic. But even scores like 90% come with a caveat like the controls aren't as good as we'd have liked, or the graphics look a bit coarse. The norwegian reviewers at NRK said the game was unpolished, dated but that the real crux was an uninspiring story.

The story element is perhaps the part that is easiest to do something with. So, should From Dust be re- written for it's PSN release?

Alex Evans said that it was strange to make LitteBigPlanet, because he was delivering a finished piece in the form of a cd. Something physical you could collect. I know, I'm paraphrasing here, but that's basically what he said.
But a PSN title isn't like that. It's nature is digital, changeable.

Changing things isn't cowardice, it is not giving up. And that, my friends, is a virtue.

PSN users would be getting something elsen than the XBOX LIVE users. But that doesn't bother me too much. Who knows, the new story could be worse. But I must admit I'd like them to try and make the effort. Few things bothers me as much as a potentially good game. So WORK WORK WORK.
